Ephesians 2:20-23
"Built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone. In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord. And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit."

Ephesians 2:14-16
"For he himself is our peace, who has made the two groups one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility, by setting aside in his flesh the law with its commands and regulations. His purpose was to create in himself one new humanity out of the two, thus making peace, and in one body to reconcile both of them to God through the cross, by which he put to death their hostility."

The word of God can help us learn wisdom to better share the gospel and to come closer to God.

Ephesians 2 is a chapter about reconciliation. Jesus Christ destroyed the barrier between men and God.
When we study Romans we can see that people should know God.

Romans 1:21
"For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened."

In Romans 1, apostle Paul talks about the darkness inside of men's hearts. Why is there darkness? Because men do not know God. Humans are limited and will die. We are just living a momentary life. We need to know the Lord. We need to reach the maturity of believing and knowing Him therefore it is very important to teach about God.

Men became the enemy of God and by nature they were deserving His wrath. The conclusion of Romans 1 is death and despair. Paul asserts that we are by nature the children of wrath and children of darkness. Therefore, we need to let the light of Christ enter and brighten us. Who can save man from the shadow of death? The Lord destroyed the dividing wall between us. He has started to build a great house by becoming the chief cornerstone and those who are reconciled to Christ, just as Ephesians 2 says, they are now building the house of Christ. We are all builders.

We should remain as a pure and a clean house and be careful in all circumstances so that we don't fall. Repentance starts from wanting to be cleansed. To wash our sins by the blood of Christ.
What comes to us who believe in Jesus when we receive the warmth of Paul's epistle? The need to go to the lost sheep of Israel and evangelize.

May we all participate in the salvation of souls for God's Kingdom to strengthen the holy temple of the Lord.
