Atlanta Bethel Holds Asian Culture Day Event
Atlanta Bethel Community Church held a graceful Sunday service with Asian Cultural event on March 25.
Anderson Kim, a lead pastor of the church, delivered a message from Luke 24:13-35, entitled 'The Lord has risen and has appeared'. The pastor encouraged listeners to look at the path to Emmaus which disciples had walked after the death of Jesus. They were in despair and hopeless because they didn't deeply understand the meaning of cross and resurrection. Although resurrected Jesus was walking with them, they didn't recognize him.
He delivered a message on the true meaning of cross and resurrection. All members were so impressed to learn the changes of disciples after realizing it and decided to know the true meaning of Easter.
Wrapping up the fellowship, 'Asian Culture Day' was held. During the event, Blue Sky team performed beautiful traditional dance, body worship, Nanta(Drumming), raffle and gits. Brianna offered her body worship for the intermission and pastor's friend's kids played cellos and violin. It was followed by Asian snack fellowship.
The church regularly holds cultural events to draw people in the community close to the church.
