Olivet Assembly is seeking to hire a Web Developer to design, code and modify our websites to promote Olivet Assembly to the Christian community. This job requires a minimum a bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field. Ms. Cho will be responsible for managing all aspects of websites needed for our branch offices in various cities throughout the United States, from layout to function as well as different needs for each branch offices.

Job Responsibilities

  • • Create the technical aspects of websites
  • • Support existing infrastructure and test, maintain, expand, modify and monitor website programs and systems
  • • Develop new technologies and analyze data and data processing to implement and approve current web system
  • • Determine site's user and analyze user requirements, procedures and automation technologies to improve computing capabilities, workflow, and change scheduling limitations: design, coordinate and advise on internal information and computing resources sharing
  • • Confer with the churches of Olivet Assembly to discuss ideas for the layout, colors and organization of the site.
  • • Add HTML extensions such as animations and surveys
  • • Use web development software to integrate databases and other information systems:
  • • Research and implement Big Data solutions using technologies like Apache Hadoop, NoSQL, MongoDB
  • • Create Intranets
  • • Maintain existing web applications
  • • Design and implement user-driven templates, databases and interfaces
  • • Develop external web portals
  • • Build applications and services for the Web
  • • Test applications on various browsers and modify if necessary
  • • Architect websites, design data-driven applications and find efficient client-server solutions

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in information technology or a related field from an accredited university
• Must have at least 2 years of experience in the field of web development
• Proficient with Big Data including technologies like Apache Hadoop, NoSQL, MongoDB
• A solid portfolio showcasing an extensive collection of web and print projects
• Proficiency of entire Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.)
• Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS is preferred
• Efficient multi-tasking and time management skills
• Demonstrates great attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
